As a collaboration between Mid Coast 2 Tops and Local Land Services, we have funded a number of community leaders to undertake small projects they are passionate about, that support and nourish the community. Here are some more details regarding three of these projects.
Ripples of Change; supporting women’s mental health through social connection and environmental stewardship. Ripples of Change – Paddle Three | OzFish Unlimited A wonderful project supported by MidCoast2Tops Landcare Connection, Manning Valley Kayaking and Manning Landcare Inc to help women form connections within our community and better understand the health of waterways.
“Gayay Lagili Garden” a co-designed sustainable, accessible and inclusive community space at the Dundaloo Enterprises site on Wingham Rd, that provides skill development and employment opportunities for people with disability.
Bush Tucker Workshop with Slow Food Community Singleton – an event to teach people about bush tucker ingredients, cooking and plants.
